Overdoing the action!

Sunday 7th June. Pouring down with rain again. It brightens up in the afternoon and I get out for a ride cycling to Shrewsbury and back for a good 20 mile ride in about two hours. I'm on the urgent lookout for a road bike now that the distances are creeping up. Felt good when I got back.

The ride itself is pretty much all downhill to Shrewsbury and of course that means it's harder on the way back and now that the distances are going up I've got to start learning not to set off at too fast a pace and stop riding flat out everywhere.

Was so tempted to have a beer yesterday when I went round to a neighbours and they were all sitting there grinning at me like maniacs in the late afternoon but what saved me was that one of them mentioned that my face looked very "fresh" and that was enough to keep me on track.

Watched the apprentice and thought that he should have taken both of them on. Both were very talented people. I know what it's like to stand up in front of people and give a presentation from my days teaching an ebusiness course and it's a real nerve shredder if it's not something that you are used to. Both girls did an amazing job.

Monday 8th June. Cycled into work and realised it was a mistake when I got halfway up the first "climb" past the pub and realised I had nothing in my legs. Should have taken a rest day. Struggled the remaining 3 miles into the office.

Tuesday 9th June. Had a rest day and took the car.

Wednesday 9th June. Cycled into work. I'm definitely starting to shift the weight.

Thursday 10th June. Finsihed the casino reviews site.Well it's presentable anyway. Spoke to Johnathon at jackpot joy and we decided it would be a worthwhile time investment to download each casino client and do a thorough review to give the site it's uniqueness.

This is going to take a bit of time but it's worthwhile as you only have to do the content once and it lasts for ages.

Friday 11th June. Working from home. They are painting the floor outside my office so I don't have any access. Took the missus out to breakfast in the local cafe and then added some more free games and a new offer to the casino site. It's starting to look pretty good even if I say so myself.
